Adult Literacy Teaching

Students are trained to plan, organise, and implement structured learning programmes; design
and adapt learning and teaching support materials (LTSM); facilitate engaging literacy classes;
and assess student progress through appropriate evaluation tools. This qualification promotes
lifelong learning and equips graduates with both pedagogical and practical skills to make a
meaningful impact in their communities and workplaces.

Plan and deliver literacy and numeracy learning programmes for adult students.
Design and adapt learning materials suitable for diverse learning contexts.
Facilitate interactive and inclusive learning sessions.
Develop and implement assessment instruments to evaluate student progress.
Promote literacy as a tool for empowerment and community development.
