Film & Television Production

This qualification equips students with specialist competence across key disciplines in film and
television production. students gain practical skills in camera operation, lighting, vision control, vision
mixing, editing, recording, sound, captioning, and other essential production functions.
While qualifying students do not make creative decisions independently, they are fully capable of
working under direction, following production specifications, and contributing valuable technical
input to creative teams. Elective components allow for focused specialisation within selected
production areas.

1. Organise and manage production-related information according to specified requirements
2. Determine resource requirements for film or television production (human resources, equipment, materials, tools, systems, etc.)
3. Plan film or television production activities according to given scope, budget, timeframes, and quality standards
4. Assess production processes against defined quality requirements across all phases of production
5. Implement production processes under direction within an area of specialisation
